Volunteer
Opportunities at CSOs
One of our major goals is to show potential
volunteers that volunteerism can be fun,
exciting, and challenging. Many people are
unaware of the wide array of opportunities that
Civil Society Organizations in Cyprus can
provide to volunteers. Volunteering is not only
about giving but also about receiving. For many,
volunteering leads them to finding a career in
their desired field, either by improving their
CV or putting them in the right position at the
right time. For others, volunteering is about
giving back to either people or places in need
or finding a way of bringing culture into their
lives. For whatever reason one chooses to
volunteer the benefits are boundless.
Whats important to remember is that there are
many types organizations that fall under the
umbrella of what is known as a CSO (Civil
Society Organization). A CSO can be a
recreational club or art foundation or it can be
an organization focusing on Advocacy or Health
issues. Therefore, there are many chances to
become involved in something you are truly
interested in.
